Less than a month until I'm on a plane to Cardiff. Trying to stay sane and not pack up my mind in one of these boxes.

I hope you've had a lovely weekend. Is it as beautiful in Wales at this time of year as it usually is in Ontario?
(We're already into winter in Inuvik and the snow is flying, but our fall was lovely.)

Hello long-unseen friend!
The last few weeks here in Cardiff have been lovely, but in mid-September we had a lot of cold rain.
The leaves are changing, but turning brown and yellow instead of our vibrant hues. Also, even when it is cool, it's missing that crispness and bite.
I guess it's the dryness and crunch that are not there and the sounds that go with them -- but the blues and greens are as vivid as ever.
Are you resurrecting your blog? I know it's time-consuming, but you had amazing photos and I always looked forward to reading it.

Yes, I really should resurrect the blog. It's still there but I should really decide one way or the other. I'm glad that you enjoyed it.
I finally signed up for Facebook and also use Skype to keep in touch with family. Video calls are wonderful and let me see my two new nephews (1.5 weeks old and almost 2 years) and niece, who is now 10!
